The Rationale
· Environmental (Climate Change)
· Recreational and Physical Well-being
· Economic and Entrepreneurial
Many teens in South Africa are growing up in the midst of severe social problems. In many communities, a lack of adult mentorship and after-school activities contribute to youth getting involved in destructive behavior. This project aims to involve primary and high school youth in positive activities after school, and to inspire them to develop as healthy, caring and responsible citizens that contribute to their neighborhoods whilst building identity and a sense of belonging.
